Spring Happenings #1

Quite a few things have been going on in our lives the past weeks (and months) that we haven't blogged about, so here's a quick snapshot. I'll put the pictures in a few posts over the next several days so stay tuned!

Michael's science experiment - an egg in a jar of vinegar. It doubled in size and the shell basically disintegrated...gross!

Kraig's parents at Lakewood Park, west of Cleveland, with the skyline behind. It was a cool day for one of Tim's track meets.

We painted the family room, part of the kitchen and the dining room (along with some other projects) when they visited us for a couple of weeks.

This was one of our first bonfires in the backyard this Spring. About twice a week we enjoy one, often with supper over the fire and of course...smores!

In April we traveled to MN for a "celebration of life" memorial service for my Grandma Dee who passed away in February. Kraig gave the message and led all the hymns and songs. He and Michael even played a trombone duet - their first.

I love this picture of Kraig with our nephew Will.

While in MN we spent an evening with Kraig's parents (who got home that afternoon from Texas) and Kraig's brother's family. Tim and his cousin, Buddy, are proud to have gotten SLIGHTLY taller than Grandma already.

Grandpa poses with all of his grandsons (he is standing on a step to look as tall as Tim and Buddy).
