Great Gadgets #1

As you know, our family has had many changes over the past several months, but most of you probably don't know about some of the cool new gadgets and items that have either added joy to our life, simplified our life, or just brought us into the 21st century. We consider all of these items completely unnecessary. We could live without them. They spoil us. But we love them. The next several blog posts are going to be about some of these great additions to our life.

Just after Thanksgiving, Kraig and I decided it was time to stop sharing one pay-as-you-go Tracphone. The cost went from about $8 per month to over $100, but we love our phones! We have the same one - Kraig's is black and mine is burgundy.
Plus, we gave Tim an early Christmas gift and bought him a Voyager, which is like ours only with a touch screen and a few more features. Tim knows it was an extra-special treat to get a cell phone 9 months earlier than planned (he'd been told for 2 years he'd have to wait until high school) just because of the move to OH and wanting him to easily stay connected to his Iowa friends.
Recently, we added my mom to our plan, so we'll see if we still have plenty of minutes each month. I told her she has unlimited texting, but that didn't seem to interest her..... maybe we'll get her into the 21st century soon too.
