Basement Remodel - Bedroom/Den - FINAL!!!

The bedroom/den. We didn't add an egress window to this room, so technically it's just a den. However, I did hard-wire the required smoke detectors, so once I do add the egress window, it is a legal bedroom.

Here's the view from inside the bedroom looking out into the family room (notice the concrete wall still in that room). All the trunk lines (the silver heat and cold air returns) were a bit putsy to frame and sheetrock around.
Look at the interesting sheet rock job...I cut an angle to reduce severe injuries to our tall guests! When I told my mom we would be building a closet in the guest room, she jokingly said, "but I'll miss having to stand on a chair to get our dress clothes down from the nail in the unfinished ceiling". That was pretty funny when she said that.
