every year since moving here, tim and i have spent our labor day weekend in sioux falls at lifelight.
this year's artists include (among many more) the afters, leeland, sanctus real, matthew west, michael w smith, casting crowns, jared anderson, natalie grant, building 429, phil joel and lincoln brewster (who i am MOST looking forward to seeing again!).
last year they estimated 200,000 people attended and amazingly... it's free!
if you love christian music and don't mind the potential weather extremes , then you would love lifelight! (one year it rained so much the van got stuck in the mud along with hundreds of other cars and another year they brought fire trucks in to spray everyone off because it was soooooo hot!)
i think kraig and michael will miss out again, but they would rather spend the weekend home playing chess, eating, and watching movies....
