Days 3-5 with Grandma & Grandpa

Sunday was spent enjoying church and football on tv. That evening Edroy and Judy joined Kraig and me at our small group study, The Truth Project while the boys finished homework at home. Monday Kraig worked, Judy scrapbooked and made 3 batches of caramel rolls and buns (yeah!!) to stock up our freezer, Edroy mowed the lawn, which was quite a project since he emptied the bag 10 times from all the leaves. I spent several hours doing my normal Monday routine of job searching online.

That evening we traveled to Amherst on the far West side of Cleveland to see Tim's final freshman soccer game. They tied the game 2-2 after Amherst scored 20 seconds before the end. Our coach was furious because the refs had added about 6 minutes to the second half after a couple of injuries (one was first half and they weren't that long). In the end, the Bears record was 9-3-1 (or 10-3 as the boys' would say). A great season!

That afternoon just before their game, the players got these warm-up jerseys with their name on the back. Too late to use this season, but the guys will still wear them this offseason.
Tuesday while the kids were in school, the 4 of us hiked at Brandywine Falls in the National Park. Kraig and I had just been there 2 1/2 weeks earlier, but the changes were amazing between the rain we'd had increasing the water movement and the changing colors of the leaves.
Kraig helped his mom cross the creek

That evening Tim experienced his first choir concert since the move.

After the freshman choir the 10-12 grade concert choir, Royaltones (an acapella fun choir with beat boxing and vocal instruments), and Royal Harmony (the show choir) also performed. It will be interesting to see which group(s) Tim is in next year.

The next morning Kraig's parents started their long journey back home, but it was a wonderful time with them!
