Our Unique Thanksgiving - Cleveland

We were still in Cleveland for Thanksgiving. Several families from our new church found out that we'd be away from family and invited us over. As crazy as the last few months have been, we declined all the thoughtful invites to pull together as a family.

We found inexpensive bowling and each bowled four games (the 3 boys' request). Kristin looked through the sale ads to prepare for her and Tim's black Friday hunt while the boys bowled. Then we headed toward a movie theatre and found a fun restaurant called "Quaker Steak and Lube". They're kind of a wings place, but had a great thanksgiving buffet, so Tim got his wings and turkey and mashed potatoes (he LOVES mashed potatoes and gravy). Then we saw the movie High School Musical 3 (mom's request)...Kristin and I actually really liked it...it was pretty realistic...all about those last few months of high school. We were going to finish off the night with appetizers at Champps, but three of us were still full and getting tired. Tim was outvoted, so we headed back to our hotel and hung out until bedtime.

It turned into a very unique but fantastic Thanksgiving. We indeed have so much to be thankful for this year!
