I joked with the carpet-layers about wanting to keep this nice blue from the carpet pad. This is the family room. One previously unseen feature is the oak pole wrap around the pole in the middle of this photo.
We thought the boys should have a little more manly carpet colors than "girly" purple (Tim's room decorated in a "Hannah Montana" motif before we painted his walls) and Michael had this pinkish-mauve carpet. We ripped out the carpet in all three rooms. This is Kristin and my room.
