Tim - soccer!

Tim is having a great season on the freshman soccer team. With only 14 guys on the team playing 11 vs 11 they each get a lot of play time. Previously in Sioux City Tim enjoyed midfielder and forward on his rec teams, but now the coach put him on defense, center last guy before the goalie. The first few games Tim looked unsure, but then he settled into the position comfortably.

The team started 1-2, but has handily won 7 in a row to a record of 8-2! It's a short season with only 3 games left. One game Tim had 12 headers! I was concerned he'd have a headache that evening, but amazingly he didn't.

Their home uniform is white and away is purple and gold. Tim was excited to pick #2, which is his favorite (and was his usual basketball number).

I would wonder about Tim's free time after soccer season without games or 2+ hour practices each day, but he'll switch right over to making the basketball team.
