Michael's week

Every morning last week Michael enjoyed learning code to design video games. The class of 10, which included 7 in the 2D design class and 3 in the 3D design class, gave a demonstration Friday morning for parents so we could see some of the games the students created during the week.
This is a game to guess a number between 1 and 100. The computer randomly selects a number, then you type a guess and the computer tells you if you are high or low until you get the correct number.
The code to create this 3-dimensional guy that you shoot at was quite lengthy. You can see some of the code on the left.
Since Michael still talks about this for a career, it gave him a new perspective about the process to design games and also built upon last summer's 2D class using Gamemaker. He says he'll need to improve his typing using special keys like /"& and noted how important accuracy was!
