School Levy Passes

This just in...our school district, North Royalton, OH passed an opperating levy 52% to 48%. The early results had it being defeated pretty strongly. But as the night went along, the numbers changed. Why was this a big deal? If it failed, 50 teachers would lose their jobs, many of the advanced classes cut, all junior high sports cut, HS sports would be $500 per sport, $100 for band, no busing and a lot more. So, it will cost us over $300 per year in taxes, but we are so relieved this passed. Had it not passed, it would have meant we made a terrible decision to move to North Royalton. It's one of the better districts in the state and now will continue to be! Yeah God!!! -Kraig
