Kraig enjoyed his first turkey leg on the plaza at the Metrodome before the Twins game.The next morning we drove to Northwestern Wisconsin and visited his aunt and uncle and some cousins for a few hours.

But the turkeys got back at us!!!!!

While Kristin was driving in Central Wisconsin on the way to Appleton, an entire family of turkeys (Mom, Dad and 4-5 babies) crossed the highway in front of the van.

At the last moment, the Daddy flew right into the driver's side mirror and window! There was glass embedded into the window and door from the mirror. The sound was so loud Kristin's ear was a little sore for hours. So, now the Mazda is in the shop getting fixed.

Since the turkey couldn't have survived the impact, maybe we got back at them after all....
