we have great news this week - kraig and 2 guys from PHBC are almost here with the trucks holding our belongings! they fortunately delayed their flight to s.c. from monday til yesterday. the keys for the storage unit arrived at the attorney's office yesterday just before they arrived (the keys were 3 days late of course) and by 4:15 they were loading the trucks along with over 20 friends from sc!!! only an hour and a half later they were on the road!
kraig said it looks like everything was packed well and that nothing seemed damaged except some scratches on the futon.
julie and i meanwhile spent the past few days scrubbing our new house. it took BOTH of us 2 hours just to clean the fridge, it was that dirty!
the boys had a snow day today. we've gotten over a foot of snow since yesterday, now up to over 40 inches in just january! this afternoon julie and i stopped a guy driving near our home with a plow on his pickup and asked him to clear our driveway, which is a big horseshoe one. i've never approached a stranger like that before but it would have taken the boys and me probably 3 hours - i guess you could say we were desperate. it was well worth it since the piles along the drive were so high we could barely see his pickup in the driveway.
the choir at church gave us a "pantry shower" so we are loaded up with food in the pantry, fridge and freezer! it's absolutely amazing!
there will be several people over tomorrow to unload the trucks and some ladies providing lunch. by tomorrow night, we'll finally be sleeping in our own home! thank you God!!!!! he is so awesome!

I am SO glad you are in your house!!! I know Cliff enjoyed seeing Kraig the other day too. I'm sure it's a relief to get settled. The pantry shower is such a great idea!! Good luck with all of your unpacking. Take a deep breath....you guys are finally on the other end of all of this stuff!
