Last year our family had so much fun in MN with our great friends, the Rademakers, on Easter and for a couple of days following that this year we decided to have a short vacation just the 4 of us. Kraig had been working tons of hours the previous month getting the video venue started at church and this year there wasn't a lot of time between Christmas and Easter for planning his extra services, so we wanted a getaway for our family to get refreshed together in Okoboji.
Kraig's parents' timeshare in Okoboji has been a blessing to our family since Michael was a baby. We've likely been there 20 times including this Easter's overnight trip. It was definitely different to be eating sandwiches in the van after church as we drove! And with most restaurants closed Easter evening, we ordered pizza to our room. The kids thought that was cool!
I hope everyone else enjoyed their Easter, whether they were able to be with extended family or just had a quiet time at home.
